Default Coupla bird shots

I can't ID these little guys, but man... they were zipping around and banking turns like fighter planes.. had a hard time just following them.. but I got a few decent shots, very difficult shooting

IMG_4034

I must have sat there for about 20 minutes panning.. was challanging and alot of fun

IMG_4049

I also got a Crow flying.. he seemed slow compared to those starling/swallow/martin whatever the heck they were lol

IMG_4043
not crazy about the exposure.. but the extended wings look cool

My first peek at a Osprey chick.. I have been checking every weekend, and this afternoon I got a really quick glimsp of one .. can bearly make him out ( thier nest are so deep and they are small .. I put a little marker to point it out

Osprey Chick
nothing great, but I've never seen a chick.. can't wait until they get a little bigger and I can get a proper shot.

hope ya like em, thanks for lookin,

Vin

Cool, you must be a "bird whisperer" to get them to pose for you like that! Great shots, glad you shared your fun with us.

1 + 2 are great pictures. with the second coming out on top by a short beak. The bird is in sharp focus and DoF is excellent, even though these are taken under very difficult circumstances.
3 a crow but that is a particularly impressive wing span.
4, the creme de la creme although, without the helpful hint it would be hard to spot the osprey chick.
Note to self - check this out week by week, because this story with run
An outstanding collection and the culmination of patient and systematic photographic talent.
Nice job Vin

Great Shots Vin! I've seen these little guys go, I don't how you captured they with that Clarity. I agree I like the crow as well and the Osprey shot is good as well.
Thanks for Sharing these
Chewys Dad.

Very cool Vin. I believe the first one are a type of swallow. They look very much like the swallows that migrate into our area. The images are in a word, awesome. Nice work!

Great job vin buddy. Those little birds are a challenge to even keep in the view finder, yet alone snap their picture. Can't wait to see the osprey's when they get a little bigger.

Very nice work, Vin. The first one almost looks like zoom blur - very cool. And the last one sure has that "aww" factor built in! Thanks for posting.

You've got panning DOWN, my friend!!!! Now you've set the bar. Let's see you go above it! And I know you will. You've been one of the reasons I make my portraits look better - you force me to do what is, and sometimes beyond, my capability.

You panned a few shots here that are stunning. Blow my socks off next time and get them closer.

(Hey, you're my instigator, I'll be yours.)

Vin, I love the fact that we have specialites in such different genres yet we can be so close to one another and spur each other on.

Beautiful.....I'd love to photograph wildlife the way you can.
