Default Racoon in a Barrel

My fiancee and I were bored one night so we walked to the park. There was a picnic area and we sat down to enjoy the night scape and the breeze going by. We heard a scratching sound. I though it came from a near by trash can and I told him to knock the lid off. With some more interrogation I got him to.
Lo and behold this poor baby was trapped inside.

racoon

We knocked the can over so he (if it wasn't a her) could get out

It is amazing what you find. I bet you were glad you had your camera. Thanks for sharing this unusual moment.

Jake.

That is such a great story and great shot. We had a raccoon once who would 'knock' on our door so that we could put some cat food out for him.
