Default a bird a dog and two flowers

had to go over to my mother-in-law's house to help with a couple of things. So I thought I would take my camera along. Out in the backyard captured these shots.

Some sort of daisy

I absolutely love the dog. The framing is great, and you have captured the expression in his eyes so well. Good job.
The bird and flowers is nice too.

Thanks. It seems like such a simple shot but he would only rest his head for about two seconds at a time.

Mechanic, I really love how you captured the dog. Nice composition and i love his expression. The bird is also beautiful. We don't have those kinds of birds roaming free on our city backyards hehe.

Thanks paulq, yes I'm not quite sure what kind of parrot it is but it was really tame. Probably escaped from captivity. It was chewing on those seed casings in the photo. My son actually got close enough to give it one by hand just before it flew away.

Wow that is a nice experience for your son. Wished we also have those here. The only birds flying around city backyards here are those small brown Maya birds. And even now, their numbers continue to decline. Parrots and other bird species can only be found in zoos or in the provinces, but never in the cities hehe
