Default A diving catch...worth the save?

Took this low light shot hand held, slow shutter speed, non IS lens, and, of course, got some pretty crappy results. Before ditching it to the trash bin I tried a few things in PS, specifically, Poster Edge filter, and wound up with image 2 below. So, maybe it's a keeper afterall??

I like it, it's now a painting and really interesting, so yeah, it's worth keeping to me. realistic -vs- creative ... the dilemma is not always answered instantly.. put it away and come back in a few days, get a clearer opinion of it .. as for me, I like what you did

Oh, that's great! I try doing that myself with PS Elements. Good job.
