Default Golden sea

Hi everyone, I went down to the rocks at sunset the other evening and took loads of shots, most of which will end up in the bin but I liked these two - hope you do too.

That's a beautiful but rugged spot but looks like a place to capture all sorts of light play on the rocks. Beachcomber would have a ball there. Nice shooting

I like them both! The golden cast on the first is very nice and the ruggedness of the shore is well captured. The perspective you've chosen on the second one with the rock pointing as the sun is so very interesting.

I really like the composition and how you captured the splash of water in the first photo. I agree with Mike regarding the intereseting framing of the sunset. Nice work!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment. This was the first time I've been to this spot at sunset but as it's only 20 mins from where I live I want to go there again when there are some interesting cloud formations which should colour up nicely.

Wow Teresa! What a beautiful spot. I particularly like the way the rock formation points to the sun in the second pic. Very cool...

Good idea not to put these two in the bin Teresa, they are both lovely. Great timing with the first one with the wave hitting the rocks and you got the sun in just the right place to make a great composition in the second one and the colours are super and lovely reflected glow onto the sea. Two beauties Teresa.

Jake.
