Went to the race track for three quick passenger laps in the Jack Daniels V8 Supercar driven by Jack Perkins. Son of Aussie racing legend Larry.
Saw these on the transporter truck and couldn't resist the shot.



To all you Aussie V8 fans. "I survived three laps with Jack Perkins"

I'm so envious! I don't know anything about Jack Perkins, but 3 laps in any race car would be awesome. Love the picture, too!

Jack Perkins is the son of a very famous Aussie race car driver. His father Larry has had an enviable career in motorsport not only here in Australia but also England and much of Europe. He now manufactures race engines and other race items for most of the V8 supercar teams. Jack however is not known for his ability to finish a race.

Thanks Ricklumpas. If only I had a cloth with me to clean the wheel. Now I carry one in my camera kit
