Wow, Michelle, I thought all the cold picture had gone, but I think you are just starting your autumn days. These are excellent and I love the frozen feather. But, you warm us all back up again with your gorgeous little model. I am so glad that she insisted on having the picture. Nothing better than a warming smile. She is adorable.

Jake.

Brrrr....
Great photos of the frozen leaves and feather, and I agree with Jake, your little model is adorable.
I love the expression in her eyes and the movement in her hands, looks like she is warming them up.

Default memories

You are always bringing back memories for me shmelly.

I can still hear the crack of jack frost under my bare feet as I walk across the paddock.
Looking for a cow pad to stick my feet in to warm them up.

Thank you.

Thanks Jake,we have just started winter, so I have been looking at everyones lovely photos green with envy, and must console myself with weeds. The feather I found because there has been a dog stealing my neigbours chooks (chickens). I had just taken Cadence outside to see the frost, I think it is the first time she has taken any real notice of it.

Thanks Gabba-gal, I didn't even suggest that she do that, she is a real little actress.

Thanks tycooder, winter here really isn't to bad, it does get frosty in the mornings but the days are usually pretty good, and as long as I have my little actress here with me, I wont be able to sit still long enough to feel the cold.

Is that for real? It's not the first time I have heard of people standing in fresh cow pads to warm the feet. You didn't really did you?
