Default lunch break photos once again...when else?

Here are few shots taken in a nearby field about a 1/4 mile from my workplace

I have absolutely no idea what this is and maybe somebody out there does, but it is pretty cool for a flower

DSC_6707

Laid this on the roof of my car and waited for the sun to peek out so I could get the reflection

I am assuming that this is like the above flower before completely opening up

Here is a sweat bee perched on a flower

Hope you enjoyed!

Well Patrick you did great again. I sure hope you find time to eat on your lunch break. I really like the first one, and it looks to be a thistle flower. Which thistle it is up for grabs, there are several that produce a similar flower.

Really Nice shots Patrick; We get to see beautiful shots and you get to lose weight L.o.l
It's a good Idea, I should start taking my camera out at lunch and quit eating. Wouldn't hurt me a bit.
Thanks for Sharing these
Chewys Dad.

Patrick, I just love your lunchtime adventures. What a lovely set this is. Great idea to use the car for the reflection and how well it turned out. The detail in all these captures is excellent. and the bee is just fantastic. You have shown us the beauty of every day things that we take for granted. Great work again Patrick.

Jake.
