Default Another Day Fishing

Got to hang out with my son for awhile again today. This time we were over in KXVET's neck of the woods.

This first one is for Mike. It's a small mouth bass

small mouth bass

I was so pleased to see these two. I took a lot of shots of them. So far these two I like
ducks 1

ducks 2

I loved how this looked in person ... not sure I'm totally done tweaking it yet

teedle, I hope your boys take you fishing every day this summer. The photos you get are fantastic. Of course I love the ducks and the fish, but the fishing pole is so good, you can even see the line all the way out of the frame. Good job.

Looks like a great day least he caught at least one fish , thought I'd use that for bait Surfcasting at the beach here on Long Island :P ..

SUE ! you got some duckkling shots !! I love em ! .. the tire shot really has a feel to it and you got her Blue tip wing in there like a natural selective coloring .. really nice photo.

I'm reserving judgement on the last... as is, it's really good, love the comp and the idea behind it, B&W is perfect.. but I'm also thinking you should play with it..I do like it , but with that set-up I know you can WOW it ( only cause we're buddies would I say this )

Excellent fishing trip, great focus on the ducks in the water ( I know what that takes lol ).. nice set Sue,

Vin

Your shots are all really good. The fishing pole shot is great.

What a great day, very nicely captured. Love the last one. I've been snapping photos when my husband and son in law go fishing, but nothing I'm happy with yet.

it drives me nuts when I see litter at the waters edge, but in this case I guess it's now a resting place for a couple lucky ducks.
I am "hooked" on fishing teedle, and the black and white rod photo is tops. I would be hanging that one up.

Looks like a great day was had by all. Nice fish. Those ducks and ducklings are so Awwww. I love the one in the tyre and mum keeping a watchful eye on the little one. Oh, and don't touch the last one. The composition is just perfect. Thanks for sharing your fishing day Sue.

Jake.

I was so happy when I saw the two ducks down stream from us a bit. Then I thought of you when they started swimming towards us and I could see it was a mom with her baby. (Did make me wonder what happened to all the others ...) I took so many shots of them, just to be sure. I am going to keep playing on the last one.. I love the composition on it, but it just doesn't pop the way I want it to. When I'm done I'll show you.

Thank You. I was totally appalled at first with the tire just left there to rot, however when the baby went up and took a nap I wasn't so bad. I thought it would make a great shot that was also commentary on what arses people can be.
