Default Honey, I shrunk the Rose

Yesterday, I got back from work and while unwinding I stared playing with water drops and seeking for nice shots. Suddenly, I stumbled upon this cute effect. I took plenty of pictures, got the lens wet several times in the process. These are my keepers.
My two teenage daughters think they are "pretty cool".
-That's a first!

Enjoy!

Thanks Fred,
You me laugh.
I really appreciate a spontaneous reaction, like yours.
I'm glad you liked the shots.

I think they are pretty cool too flavio especially the first one where the rose is out of focus behind and in focus in the drop. Very creative and very nicely done.

Jake.

Thanks for the encouragement. It was suggested that the first shot would look better cropping it in such a way that the rose and background becomes less distractive and the focus of attention remains mostly in the drop and the refraction within it. I'll certainly check that out and see how it looks like. What do you think?

These are awesome shots Flavio. I am pretty challenged when it comes to water shots. I love the first one. Great job.

Only my opinion but the Rose is great as it is just so that you can make the comparison from what is in the droplet. Buy hey, it works fine both ways. Both are excellent.

Jake.

WOW! So creative with what you've done here and so original! i love it and i think the background of the out of focus rose is perfect i'm not sure i would crop but you could try and then see which one it is that you prefer. great job and thank you for sharing!
