thank you Susan, Jim, and Patrick. Mountains, mountains, and more mountains...all beautiful. Also saw Zion National Park in Utah...more beautiful mountains...a photographer's delight as long as you can get away from the casinos

Those are some nice shots. I might be mistaken but the Red Rock ones look like they were taken from near the road. Did you not go hiking while you were there? If you didn't you missed out. I can't comment on the shot from the strip I am jaded about the structures down there.
Have you posted any of the Zion pictures? I'm going there again sometime this summer.

Jim I don't know about the guy going to the bathroom he just might be hiking. There are all kinds of crazy people that go jog the 16 mile trail.

No Scott, we did not do any hiking....maybe next time out. We were staying with a good friend of mine from high school who lives in LV with his wife, and he was taking us around to see the local sights.

I haven't posted any of the Zion shots yet, Scott, but I will say, it was a spectactular place to visit...I'll try to throw a few of those up. I guess our planes must have crossed in the air...lol. Did you shoot anything back here in the East while you were back?

I guess we were lucky...We didn't run into any "crazys"...maybe it was too early in the morning for them
Thanks for looking and your comments Scott

Vinnie

I like the Red Rock photos. If you get back this way again, a springtime hike at Red Rock can reveal waterfalls from melting snowpack. By summer the waterfalls are usually gone.

Love that first one. The curvy road, the building, the rocks in the background and the feeling of vast openness. Thanks for sharing.

I have some pictures from hikes in Red Rock and from Zion at DeviantArt (link is below). Would love to see some of yours from Zion. I had a great time there. I'm going to have to go back one day and go through the narrows.
