Here's a picture I shot with my 300 f2.8 of one our squirrels gathering peanuts we put out each morning on our deck railing.

Nice Shot Jim, Looks like he's quite the Poser! We used to have a couple we fed as well, I used to put 2 walnuts on the fence and watch one of them try to get them both at the same time, What a riot.

Very nice shot, glad to hear you feed these guys and not try to keep them away as some do. Sometimes seeing photos like this make me miss my home too much, where I live now there are no such animals. thanks for showing

If we don't get the nuts out early in the morning, the'll come right up to the glass doors and tap on the glass. Funny!!!!!!!!!!!! They aren't spoiled

I am evil...I would probably nail the walnut to the decking, you know, loose enough to spin but tight enough to stay!

The classic squirell pose and what a capture it is. Great detail and nice for him to pose with the nut. This is a super shot Jim. Very well done.

Thanks......there's three of them, who play tag team with our dog. While she's chasing one, the other two come onto the deck to grab and dash with the nuts.
