Arrow Long exposure at night

Last night I was trying take some moon shots and when I realized that I just can't get close enough with my lens so I started to picture buildings/things near by. I took some long exposures to capture maximum details. Since I don't have a tripod placed my camera on a wall and to protect it from getting scratched and dust I used a sweater, the sweater also helped me adjust the height and angle : D
Also it is very interesting how bright light source appear in long exposures.

Here is some of what i got

ISO: 360
Exposure: 13.0 sec
Aperture: 5.6
Focal Length: 50mm
Flash Used: No

ISO: 800
Exposure: 20.0 sec
Aperture: 9.0
Focal Length: 55mm
Flash Used: No

ISO: 400
Exposure: 20.0 sec
Aperture: 14.0
Focal Length: 55mm
Flash Used: No

ISO: 400
Exposure: 20.0 sec
Aperture: 11.0
Focal Length: 55mm
Flash Used: No

There is no post processing done apart from straightening some of the photos a little using Picasa.

Well done AC, despite difficult conditions you weren't put and improvised and as a result captured four nightime pictures of what looks like a modern busy city, good shots mate, especially without a tripod

They look really good. I did this over Christmas holiday with one of our county office buildings. Try changing the white balance along with the exposure times for interesting results.

Very nice work Atulsc, I like the lights and composition. I applaud your efforts in such circumstances.

Very nice shots and to get them without a tripod is even more impressive. Thanks for sharing them.
