Another brilliant set. I like the first one where the guys are just sitting having a chat. I have a question Ftboah and may sound stupid but, are these guys cowboys for a living or is it just something they do in their spare time and as an exciting hobby. Sounds stupid because in these days of automation, do real cowboys still round up their herds on horseback. In the UK we don't have cowboys and the farmers tend to do a lot on quad bikes. Sorry for questions. I am just really interested in your way of life. Oh and I love the last one too, that is the one which provoked the question.

Jake.

Jake, most of the time, it is a blend of both. There are those of us that always dreamed of being cowboys and play at it on the weekends. And there are those that either cowboy on a ranch or rodeo for a living. We all just kind of come together and share some fun on the weekends....(well, except for those that rodeo. They are usually busy trying to make a buck on the weekends)

Deb, Do you speak horse ears? What is that outside horse saying in your middle shot? His ears are slighly askew so it has me wondering. Just marked it as a favorite btw. That shot brings along the nostalgic smell the saddle soap. (My mom used to carve leather and the fragrance has seeped into my bones). I love the contrast of expressions between the men and the horses in your first shot. Clearly having different experiences. That was fun. Thank you!

Beautiful set FBOAH, I like the second one a lot but the last one Is excellent! His face makes me think of all the Zane Gray novels I've read. Very pleasant memory too. TNX!

He was probably saying..."What the heck?" I had just done a low whistle to get some ear movement from them. They were almost asleep while they were waiting for their riders and I wanted a bit more from them.

Looks like a fun weekend. The first one is my favorite, such a neat capture. I like working horses.

Another great set ftboah, thanks for sharing the Big Country, its worth the price of adnission alone, and your animals look magnificent as do your 'cowboys and girls'
