Default West Bay Moon - A city night shot

West Bay Central Business District in Doha taken at mid-evening. Weather very hazy, so it reduces the clarity. Even Photoshop couldn't make great improvements. I wil go back to this once the hot summer has started to cool down.

I just had a look at the large version in flickr. I think that is the best way to see this excellent picture. The mist adds to the effect. Great capture. Love the way the moon adds to the interest. Very nice work rahsoft.

Jake.

Well done. I like the moodiness the haze adds.

thank you all for your comments - much appreciated.

BTW- there is no mist despite being located right on the bay( fog season has gone, but there are photos on my flickr). Its a haze made up of sand and construction debris.
Which is why hopefuly I will try to repeat this when the weather is more favourable.

If anyone is interested, what you see is 60 towers( some hidden behind of course). The planned development is for 300 in that same area!- that will make an impressive photo once finished in a 2-3 years.

For further interest this is a similar photo from the other side of these towers

West Bay and Islamic Art Museum in Doha

Apologies to Mod if this is considered flooding / spamming

Great wide angle shot, the moon sits perfectly in the photo.
