Default Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble

Might be a bit of overkill in the title but while I was trying to edit these shots today my PS started acting very weird and will not let me crop. No clue what it's doing, why, or how to undo it. (have a post up in the PP part if anyone knows any good thing to try)

In between rain showers today I went out wandering to see if I could find anything interesting. These are two of the shots I got..

These I saw on a little branch on our lilac tree. About 15 minutes after I took this I went back out to show my son and they were gone. Assuming something got a little snack out of it

bug eggs

This poor guy was on a limb of some little bush we have. He looked so pathetic with the rain all over him.

Sue, Nicely done. I am enjoying your macro posts and I'm envious too! I love the caterpillar with the raindrop on his head!

Sue, these are so good. too have been enjoying your macros of late. That caterpillar is totally amazing. Nice work. What are those white things on the branch? Some type of insect egg maybe? Just curious. Great job!

I believe that the white things were some kind of insect eggs. I've been finding all kinds of stuff like that around here. I am trying to keep an eye on some of them so I can document the progression. Very glad you are enjoying these too!!!

I love the raindrop on his head! Very sharp and clear... do you know what those white balls were?

Thanks. I do believe those white balls were some type of insect eggs. I went back to look at them a few minutes later and they were gone

Sue, these are excellent. The first one could have been the start of a new assigment, watching and capturing the bugs hatching. Shame they were eaten. The second image is stunning, great catch with the raindrop. Brilliant work Sue.

Jake.
