It is all over up this way too. I naively didn't realize that the UK was effected also. Love the shot. Your treatment and that womans dress are timeless. Could be 30 years ago or could be now.
PS: Our Woolworths all went out of business years ago. Really miss the soda fountains they had in them

My town too cd. This is a very topical image and unfortunately a sign of the hard times. Nice capture buddy. I think we are seeing far too much of this.

This is a nice shot despite the subject matter. The blurring of the people( and pehaps a little more blurring) could emphaise the ghost town effect here.
It would be a good project if you wish, to record the change / demise of the town. In turn I think the local historians would like this and other photos when what has happened is commited to history in either a book or article. Regards |
