Unhappy More signs of the current economic situation

This is happening to more and more shops in our town (as well as everywhere)

this is the fifth shop in as many weeks, not including woolworths....

its looking more like a ghost town..

It is all over up this way too. I naively didn't realize that the UK was effected also. Love the shot. Your treatment and that womans dress are timeless. Could be 30 years ago or could be now.

PS: Our Woolworths all went out of business years ago. Really miss the soda fountains they had in them

They are dropping like flies around here, especialy the little conveniance shops, one was stated as "survived the war but not the recession"

My town too cd. This is a very topical image and unfortunately a sign of the hard times. Nice capture buddy. I think we are seeing far too much of this.

This is a nice shot despite the subject matter. The blurring of the people( and pehaps a little more blurring) could emphaise the ghost town effect here.

It would be a good project if you wish, to record the change / demise of the town. In turn I think the local historians would like this and other photos when what has happened is commited to history in either a book or article.
