I am so sorry...although the loss of my own is far removed, the loss continues.

I feel your pain. The only thing I can say is to remember the times that you had with her. Be with your family if you can. Talk about her and rejoice in the life that she lived. Take it one day at a time. I have experienced such loss myself.

Something in the last photo really touched my heart..what a lovely lady and a lovely way to remember her warm smile. Find peace in the joy and love you shared with her.

My Grandma spent the last year of her life in hospital close to where I lived as a student so I visited her every week. Mostly she looked like your first shot but now and again she looked like your second for a brief while and I treasure those moments. Nice series but commiserations for your loss.
