Default my bug macros

I wanted to share some of my bug macros from this weekend. These presented a unique challenge as they were all behind glass with very little to no lighting! Throw in lots of smears on the glass and it was NOT easy LOL

A red velvet ant. These pack a nasty bite!

Brook, these are so perfect. The detail and colours are awesome. Who needs a fancy DSLR when you can produce such beautiful images. Outstanding captures all of them.

Jake..

You took some amazing pics even if you had inadequate lighting and smeary glass to deal with lol! i love the first one and the second one for the colors!! but the last is my favorite because of the composition and the other ladybug on the underside of the leaf! fantastic job! Oh and btw, it doesn't even seen like there is glass between you and these little creepy crawlies so good job, you did something very right

I too was very thankful for the glass ~ smears and all

If any of you make it to my city ~ this is really one of the best places to practice wildlife macro! There is no where else I would get that close to a spider LOL
