Default Red Rose

Hi all. This new rose appeared in my garden this morning. I couldn't resist a picture. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for looking. This one is for my lovely wife who puts up with me being here. Thank you to Robert Burns for the words.

O, my Luve's like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June.
O, my Luve's like a melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune

Rosy Red

From Dave.

Wow Jake, That is an awesome image. Love the rich, deep colors and texture of the rose. Excellent vignette and framing. The poem's good too. Here's to all our special ladies...

Beautiful rose Jake! I love the bright red color. Is the PP or natural?

You just need green fingers and a little bit of luck with the weather. That was exactly the colour of the rose. Thanks for the compliment though.

Jake.

Jake, a fitting image and fitting words for something so beautiful. I can see why you had to take a picture! Your wife must be someone really special.

Jake, that is a gorgeous photo. the framing is perfect and the deep color is breathtaking! Makes me want to do what i always do when i happen to come across a rose like that... bend down and brush the petals against my cheek and then try to smell up all of its essence with one big long sniff! ha ha great job!
