Default Almost a Moon

I have been trying to get a good moon shot and it is just not working. This shot is one that I took of the reflection in the pool. It's not what I was after but I thought it was interesting none the less.

teedle, looks great to me, I just posted two of the Moon and I like this better. I've been trying to figure out this type of shot and haven't got there yet.

Wow, that's a pool reflection? Not sure what you were after but this is a really nice and interesting shot. I am guessing that you don't like the moon being solid white with no crater detail? Not exactly sure how to get around that one myself!

Great looking shot. There's a real dream/nightmare quality to the image.

Thanks Fred. I was after a shot like the ones you posted. They just were not working so I pointed the camera at the reflections going on in the pool and got this. Funny how we each like the others better

Nice to see you around !! Have thought of you on my attempts at shooting birds. This was one of those saw it by accident things. At first I thought it was a reflection from our spotlight that was catching my eye, then when I looked again I saw it was this. This was much better then the shots of the moon I was taking.

Hi Sue. This a great capture. Very creative to get a moonshot through the reflection in the water. The silhouetted leaves look really good. I love this shot. Very well spotted and great piece of work.

Jake.
