Default roses are red....

well, this one is pink! roses finally started to open in my back yard so i thought id take some pics, heres what i got. no pp was done. hoping to get some better shots soon, when they open.

Nice composition and color. I think there is an insect on the rose around the 5 o'clock position.

thank you all for your comments! i was very happy to get this photo, i was having a real problem with the lighting. it was so bright out that it kept looking blown out. i finally bumped the shutter speed to about 645 and the iso to 100! worked out pretty well. i was thinking that that comp was not very good, like its too much in the center of the photo.

are you talking the inside of the bud? theres a water drop that kinda has a strange reflection to it that could looks like a mosquito

Could be. Look at the lower leaf about the 6 o'clock position and then go straight up slightly right about an eigth of an inch.
