Default My First Maternity Photo Shoot

OK, so this was my first photo shoot period other than on my family. My models are my friends, but I was still extremely nervous. I spent some time looking at different ideas for maternity poses on the internet and I had a few ideas of my own. I came to the park prepared with mosquito repellent, blanket, pillows, props, ladder, Nikon, Tripod, extra smart card, reflectors and hubby to hold the reflectors. The mommy showed up and admitted that she was hormonal LOL and I thanked her for coming out and told her that I would make it as painless as possible and make her as comfortable as possible.

Both the mommy-to-be and the daddy-to-be were extremely happy with the results. I am pleased too, but did learn several things from this shoot that will make it easier on me for the next time. I thought I paid a lot of attention to the background, but not enough. I had to do more work than I really needed to on photoshop. Ok, enough with the rattling -- let's show you the pictures already!

Thank you for looking at them. I hope you enjoy!

P.S. and thank you to the photographer that gave me the idea for the hands coming together as a heart on the mother's belly. I got that pose idea from this website.
