I am primary sharing, but if you have any feedback on how to improve my lunar shots I am all ears. I feel like I need a 500mm to do this kind of thing because I really don't feel my tamron 28-300mm is cutting it.
White Moon Rising: ![]() Timelapse at 12fps, I know I need something to contrast it with... Cloudy without IS turned on: Clearer with IS on (causes some jumping): Hope you enjoyed...

The other two should be videos from flickr...do you have the latest flash player installed?

The focus on the pic looks a bit soft to me, were you focused on infinity?
Good idea on the time lapse video. Mike

Yeah it was...bit tough to get what level of detail I was at through the viewfinder with something like that. The autofocus wasn't much help either.

If you're focused on infitity it should all be sharp since it is such a long distance away the dof doesn't make a difference. Maybe try a smaller aperture just to be sure.
I do like the time lapse. That would have been great for the eclipse.

I like the time lapse zomie, great idea and great work too. With regard to what else you can do. I think think you have a little too much light coming in. As mmeyer says try a smaller aperture. The light from the moon comes from the sun and is very bright so you probably need to reducd the light either by shutter speed or smaller aperture. But I still think you did a great job. and very nicely presented.
Jake.

The "White Moon Rising" shot is really nice and can be useful for montages. Your videos were pretty good too.
