Too cool! Very nice texture and detail. Needs some serious attention with a tweezer, though.

Wow, incredible looking eye, almost looks like it's made from some sort of stone! Very nice shot!

Beautiful work; Great Focus and composition. Elephant are such wonderful animals
Every Year in Surin Thailand we have the Elephant Fair in Nov. Hundred and hundreds come from all around the district for the event. Perhaps I'll post some pictures from last year.
Thanks for Sharing this

Thank you all for your comments. I sent it into NYIP as one of my first assignments...simplify and make sure everyone who sees it knows what the subject is....they trashed it...said they didn't know if the subject was the eye or the elephant...they really didn't like it. So thank you all because I love it too.

Oh Leona....can I just say this is absolutely outstanding???

How on earth did you capture this? I think you've found your niche in photography. I'm blown away by the fire in the elephant's eye, the expression, the detail and focus.

Well done. Your elephant shot kicks my elephant shot's ass!!!
