Default My First Picture

I joined this site today at the behest of my husband KurtWall. We visited Elizabeth Gamble garden in Palo Alto, CA today, and I managed to take quite a few nice shots. This is my favorite:

Hello Mrs Wall and welcome to our friendly community here at DPS. I am so glad that Kurt got you to join, you will have so much fun here. Your first photograph is lovely, the colours are excellent and you just can't go wrong with the trusty old bench, they always make such interesting pictures. So now we have Mr and Mrs Wall. That is great. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Have fun..

Jake.

Welcome to DPS! Lovely Composition and Colors; looks like a very peaceful place to sit and read a good book on a sunny afternoon.
Thanks for Sharing
Chewys Dad.

Thanks for such wonderful feedback! I failed to mention in the original post that the shot was taken with a Kodak Easy Share camera, Z712 IS. The more I use this camera the more I like it. I have already learned so many helpful tips and hints by reading this forum. And thanks for the warm welcome!
