I joined this site today at the behest of my husband KurtWall. We visited Elizabeth Gamble garden in Palo Alto, CA today, and I managed to take quite a few nice shots. This is my favorite:

Thanks for such wonderful feedback! I failed to mention in the original post that the shot was taken with a Kodak Easy Share camera, Z712 IS. The more I use this camera the more I like it. I have already learned so many helpful tips and hints by reading this forum. And thanks for the warm welcome!
