Default Punky Brewster

One of my dear friends allowed me to practice on her daughter today. She was a little anti-Camera, because all she wanted to do was play and go to the park. I still got a lot of good shots though! Here are a few. My Flickr photostream has the rest, but I know the rules only let me post 4.

On the indoor shots I used my speedlite bounced off to the left with a bounce card above it to throw some fill light on her for the glow effect. I used the 50mm f1.8 indoors and the 28-135mm outdoors so she could run around and not pay attention to the camera in that setting.

The only thing I wish I could have changed was to remove the chair behind her when we were in the dining room. You can see that one in the stream. I didn't post it here, just the client favs.

nice compositions! as for the rules, you can actually post 4 but all of your pics are too large for the forum......they need to be the medium size from Flickr, not the large......you might want to revisit. Show us some more of these shots, they are very creative!

OH, I thought the max width could be 800... oh my gosh. I'll fix them.

Ok all fixed! Sorry about that. I added one more, but they're all in my photostream, or you can go here to see the whole set in 800x533:

Wow, Georgia, she is so cute and a great job you did with these captures. I like the second one too. Nice work with that one.

Jake.

Thanks guys!

I was actually afraid of this shoot, because she wasn't being very cooperative. I took maybe 30 shots and all that I could salvage were 11. Ick. She would make ugly faces at the camera or not look at the camera at all. She just wasn't having a good day and wanted to play at the park, not walk around it and have her picture taken
