This image totally cracked me up. She just wanted to sleep and was done with pictures...haha

These shots are just beautiful. I adore the first one. I had grandchild no. six born yesterday and will shortly get the chance to photograph her. How did you get such beautiful skin tone on your little model?

Thanks Michelle. Congrats on your new little one! I was worried about newborn skin tones/blotchiness..etc but I think I just got really lucky with this one. She is the first newborn that I've photographed so I haven't had any experience with trying to correct newborn skin. I will give you a HUGE tip though.....Photograph your new grandbaby within the first week of life because each day after that makes it harder and harder to pose them. This little one wore me out and was soooooo hard to keep asleep while posing. Good luck, I can't wait to see pictures!

these are stunning images... super portrait... the first two makes my heart stop beating... luckily the last two makes it beat again... hahaahha...

Oh Ruthie, she is so precious and you certainly captured her amazingly well! I am sure Mom and Dad are over the top happy to have these to forever treasure since moment by moment she is growing and changing right before their very eyes! Of course I love them all but I absolutely love the hidden face one it is just so incredibly darling!
