Pretty, gorgeous, electrifying ...that's what I'd name them.

From the title it sounded like a sci fi but these are wonderful Sue. Great work. The white one is awesome!

Your "aye aye, sir!" response was very dutiful. Man, I'd love to see your backyard. Every shsot from it has been breath taking! And, ahem...it could be the other way around. You might have been screaming: "Pose!" Either way--great result.

I appreciate that Lindy. We have been here for 3 years and each spring I find more plants I didn't see the year before. I can guarantee you that with all the mosquitos that are here right now, it isn't Pose I'm screaming when I'm out there

Another brilliant set Sue and another masterclass in macro photography The detail in them all is stunning, but the second one is my favourite. I looks like it is about to pop open and just burst with colour. Beautiful work once again. Your garden is providing us with some lovely photographs.

Jake.

Love the first image in particular. I'm not sure what it is --- high ISO noise I assume --- but the 'prickly' background effect just suits the focus point so perfectly. Nicely composed!
