They are nice shots. If you want a critique on them it would have been better to post them in the appropriate forums. Possibly a staff member could move them for you.

Thanks mstark. I got lucky one evening with a friend, and just decided to wait it out. This shot was actually taken just as we arrived at my car, and we were going to break the gear down. I decided to take a few "last minute shots with my canon 55-250. Got lucky. Quote:
Thanks, djb28. Believe it or not, these colours are right out of the camera. I only adjusted the horizon line in Lightroom 2, and cropped subtly for compostition reasons. Thanks jagoble25. I also like the sunset more. I guess you cannot beat colour impact! I also like the Seed Pod photo, but it is hard to compare B&W with colour. Quote:
I really appreciate everyone's welcome, and the feedback. I am really looking forward to posting more photos here as the members seem very genuine and willing to help.

HI plangereis and welcome to our friendly community here at DPS. Well, you certainly haven't lost your touch through the lens. The composition on the first one is great and the second one is so good. The colours and silhouette are lovely and great to include the kayak. This is great work plangereis, I am sure that there is a lot more to come.
Jake.
