Default Swim Meet Pics

Here's one mid-race shot (breast stroke) and 2 candid, just after the race shots, from a recent swim meet.

Swim Meet 1

Swim Meet 2

Swim Meet 3

Thanks for looking.

Very nice Chip. The little girls eyes in the 2nd shot are crazy pretty. Nice shots-all three!

Chip, I love these! You have such an affinity with all things water! The second one is outstanding!

Glad to be of use. Here in Tampa, the swim season is always outdoors, and my daughter's swim team starts "polar bear" conditioning practices in mid-February.

Thanks for the comments, especially about the colors. The computer I'm on now is not the one on which I processed these pics, and the colors look wonky (too red) on this computer.

Thanks, jul. Those eyes are striking, aren't they?

Many thanks, Mike. LOL about the affinity for water! I never thought of it, but thanks for making that connection.

Great shots! I love the look of concentration on her face in the 1st and 2nd ones. The third is adorable!

Because you have such a grasp of the technical aspects of photography, especially your intuition about composition, it frees the viewer to enjoy the heck out these wonderful expressios. Determination, a little frown, a sigh of relief. Who can't identify...which I sometimes think is the point. These photos explain why I am in your fanclub.
