Default Fun with my girls at a downtown park

Playing in the fountains is every kid's dream but I really did not go there with the intention of my kids getting 100% soaking wet......nor did they at first.

First we played around in the grass and conducted small talk

Dad with Lisa and Mandy

Then the kids decided to run around the fountain splashing as they go by......getting a little damp...that's expected!

Uh oh, they got wet enough to give in to their most primal desires! And Dad says nothing...just keeps shooting

DSC_5007

Well, Mandy here looks rather fulfilled with the sensory exploration!

And well, they had a blast and I had to strip them down out of their soaking wet clothes and just leave on their very wet underwear for the ride home in the car...They loved the windows down and the warm air blow drying them.

Those are all great shots. I really like the first one of you and the girls. It looks like you are planning the "don't tell mom" moments that are about to follow The last one is wonderful, you are right the look on her face tells it all !! What a great memory for your girls

Oh having a Dad that is too involved in his photography to get mad would have been too good to be true . If I'd done that when I was a kid , probably couldnt have sat for a month of Sundays , you're a good man Patrick . Theres some great shots in there too .

If those don't show "quality time", I don't know what would. Fun! And well-captured, too. What a way to spend the day and let kids be kids.

What a good Dad, you are. I smile every time I see you out with those kids. And that last shot...just perfect to remember a really fun day.

Looks like fabulous fun, what a blast. How come Dad wasn't in the fountain? OH, I guess someone had to drive home. Will Mum let you out with the kids again?

Nice shots, particularly of Mandy. Don't you just wish you could jump in the fountain with them?
