Default USS North Carolina

A few photos of and from the battleship USS North Carolina. The first of the new "fast battleships" built by the United States prior to World War II, the North Carolina served throughout the war in the Pacific. She is now on public display in Wilmington.

That's one lady you don't want to mess around with. Nice shots.

I really like the naval pictures. What a great symbol of US might and freedom. Good job on the photos Gary. Thanks for sharing these.

Alexander, nice shots of our home ship. I so enjoy seeing the USS North Carolina as I cross the bridge into Wilmington.

Thanks for sharing. Pictures like this reassure us and remind us that freedom isn't free.
