Just in front of Buckingham Palace is the lovely St James Park, where I often spend my lunch hour walking around. It has an enormous artificial lake and is therefore a favourite of various waterfowl, and it also has a curious fascination for squirrels too, how are overly friendly to put it mildly - they seem to particularly enjoy posing for photographs
Hope you enjoy the shots I got today![]() ![]() Oh and here's a gratuitous shot of... yes... a flower, in the garden of the Park Lodge. I took some photos of the Lodge today which I'm just not satisfied with, so I'll put one or two up of this fascinating little building soon (just to note because its full of straight lines the resizing of the flower pic looks a bit nasty on the page - best to click through and download the image if you want a proper look - full size it appears to be fine...)

It was a bit unnerving actually because they were all doing it - scrambling up and perching on top of the low fence, looking up at you with their beady little eyes... "Gimme your nuts!"
