Default A 'Twilight' moment ...

I know I'm too old to be a fangirl, but I am somewhat obsessed with the Twilight Saga - books and first movie ...

Well, I was walking in the woods at the weekend and I had "a moment" lol

In spite of its busy-ness I like the composition of this .. and yep, it breaks the rule of thirds but there's something about it that pleases me anyway
Perhaps it's association and an overactive imagination lol

my eyes went directly to the tree in the foreground .. I don't think it's too busy at all and including the ferns on the bottom adds a nice base to your image ..a very creative twilight moment

Here's what happens for me. The fern leads my eye to the central trunk and each protruding branch leads the eye upwards. The top branches stops the eye from flying off the top of scene. Instead, it sends your eye back downward, wending its way through the fern and back up top again. It's like a slow pleasant drive down a country lane with nothing getting in the way. In other words, I like it, too. Shesh. Your friend, Tolstoy.

If you look at the way that the branches are snapped off, I wonder if some of the mythical forest folk were making a ladder...
