Default macro flowers, boring title with lots of detail

I got my g/f some flowers for her birthday today, but as she was sleeping I couldn't help but to escape from bed to break out the macro lens and snap a few in a nice controlled environment...

Lovely colours in these two excellent captures zomie and great use of composition to give the effect of a sunrise in the first one. Great work Zomie.

Jake.

I really like the first one, great detail and color. I like the second in that it show such amazing detail, right down to the pollen. Well done.

Thanks for all of the compliments It helped being able to bounce a flash. I don't think I could pull off these shots outside as easily.

LOL yeah I think she liked the flowers
