Default no flowers were injured while making this picture

O.K. so everyone is sharing these beautiful pictures of flowers and while i can appreciate the beauty of their colors and shapes i wanted to celebrate the green plants that develope into the more attractive bouquet.

The taller plant is a False Hellebore and if you see these at any time DO NOT EAT THEM a note for those who like to experiment with new additions to your salads these can cause vomiting, paralysis, and death.

The shortter plant will grow to about 30" into a Wild Geranium and a sight to behold in woodlands and meadows.

Thanks for the botany lesson. Nice that things are greening up isn't it? Looking forward to seeing these when they're in bloom too. TNX Up North!

The pleasure is all mine Fred. Fishing is great here also, i'm working on plans for a trip in a couple of weeks to a region where we fish for greylings and big lake trout.

Nice capture Up North and thank you for the lesson. The rule always used to be to always eat your greens, now we have to look twice. Nice to see things are beginning to grow, I must feel great for you. Thank you for sharing.

Jake.

bad bad bad plant! They are not supposed to afflict us so! Wonder what's in it that has such a deleterious effect on our bodies?

The title drew me in, the image kept my interest.
Thanks for the interesting tidbit on the plant. Did you ever see the movie, I think it was called Into the Wild? where the kid hitchiked up to Alaska and found an old bus to live in, but he accidently ate a poisonus plant?

Thanks for looking and your comment windrider, no, i've heard the story but didn't see the movie. We don't share the deadly snakes, that the lower 48 do but our plants will get you!
