I posted this is the current Assignment "abandoned" but its not a valid entry because I shot it well before the assignment dates but it just goes to show why you should take your camera everywhere

Ha ha great capture Sheldon and you composed it well. I like the colours from the sky reflecting in the sand too. I agree always handy to have the camera to hand. Nice one Sheldon.

Bit concerned about the kid that must have lost the shoe!

Thanks for the comments Jake - I did crop the image slightly as the shoe looked a little too lost in the full size version and I was too lazy to get closer and didn't want to lose the height advantage I had of the shot - probably would have lost the reflection at a lower level

Quite funny you should say that - I've lived by this beach nearly my whole life and as a kid and teenager we wouldn't dream of wearing anything on our feet on this beach and used to laugh at the outsiders in their sandals. Not sure I'm so keen now
