Cool Calgary @ Night

I took four images of the downtown core of the city then merged them in Photoshop. After which, I processed the image using Noise Ninja.

This is my first attempt at a shot like this and I think it turned out pretty decent. Comments will tell, though.

EXIF DATA (same for all four images):

Date: May 31, 2009 (approx 12:15AM)
Camera: Canon 20D
Exposure: 2.0s @ f/3.5
ISO: 100
Lens: Canon 28 - 135mm (set at 28mm)
WB: Auto

Its a good shot but.. I think its too dark.. it might benifit from a little more exposure.. and I would also suggest you to use a lower aperture than what you did like f/8..

I agree with rawHULK... nice shot, but a tad too dark.

Looks like a nice city

Thanks, everyone.

I had actually done some longer exposures as test shots but I went with the shorter exposures because the blue neon sign (at the bottom of the image) and the Moon were getting way over exposed. I'll have to try, as rawHulk suggested, and use a lower aperture and longer exposure. I'm assuming this would keep things from looking "blown out"? One of the longer test images actually produced a "lens flare" from the neon sign. Sorry if my terminology is a little off... I'm still pretty new to DSLR photography. <-- Geez! How many times have I read that in a post?
