The Cinque Terre
More pictures from Italy. This part of the country is called the Cinque Terre - or Five Lands. We hiked between the first 4 along the coast.
This is town #2 - Manarola.  A door in town #1 - Riomaggiore  We stayed here - in town #4 Vernazza  A different angle of Vernazza -this was from the trail as we were approaching the town. You can see town #5 on the coast in the background.  Thanks for looking.

I'm sitting here crying--happy tears--remembering 6 glorious days in Cinque Terre. I met my daughter and SIL there in 2004. Golden mornings, my daughter and I would get up, grab coffee and our cameras and spend a morning taking snaps. At night, dinner at the Castello. Your photo of Vernazza is over-the-moon good and not just for sentimental reason. Manarola as well. I could hug you and you live in Arizona so it could happen!

Wonderful Shots; I'd love to see it in person someday. You've captured the Spirit of the Area in your Photos. It looks quaint and ageless. The kind of place you could shoot for days and still not exhaust the possibilities.
