My wife and I went to Brookgreen Gardens, near Myrtle Beach, SC this past weekend. It was her first outing with the primary purpose being to shoot photographs. We had a great time -- and came away with some fairly good photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed shooting them. Let's start with four macro shots of some of the flowers in bloom at Brookgreen:

I love macros of flowers! Most of them turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. Leona, it is gorgeous. There are sculptures and statues and gates and ponds and flora and fauna everywhere. It's beautiful! If you ever get the chance to visit, Brookgreen Gardens is well worth the time and price of admission. I hope to post more pics from our day at the gardens -- over the course of this week. I truly hope everyone enjoys viewing them as much as we enjoying capturing those images.
