While photographing nature yesterday, we came across a little 5 foot gator. Isn't he cute?!
![]() My husband wanted to get a close up shot of him .... he is such a trooper when it comes to photography LOL ![]() Here he is just as the gator made a big splash and disapeared under the water.... Hubby tried to walk on water after that which I wish I would have taken a photo of LMAO ![]() No gators or humans were hurt during the filming of this storyboard LOL

Not really scary when you know about gators. That size is just a wee baby. The only thing he can kill are cats, little dogs, birds and that kind of thing. He would not have been able to take down a full grown man.
Of course had he tried to attack hubby for getting too close, it would require a few stitches so when he went under Hubby got out of the water pretty darn fast! LOL I kept to the shore and practiced with my telephoto lens hahahahaha I put hubby in charge of the macro LOL

Yeah, that was a mere baby...but I still wouldn't be as brave as your husband! I don't think I would even have wanted to be in that murky water...yuck! LOL! Ours was probably 6-7 feet. Glad I had a long lens to take the shot because I wasn't getting any closer than I was.

I wish my photo would have come out more clear but I am still REALLY new and this was the first day I really practiced using my new telephoto lens. I see I get more blurr than I thought I would. I might have too shaky of hands so I am learning that using this lens I am going to have to use a tripod as I can't hold the camera steady enough

It's a shame you didn't come out of this adventure with a new pair of shoes and a purse, and a belt for your hubby! Thanks for sharing.
