Default Toadstools

Today I were on my way to meet a friend when I saw these, made a u turn before I remembered I am already late for my meeting. So turned around again, told my friend there is no way I am going to miss out on these, weather looked also if its going to rain any minute. So my friend went back with me (nice of her) but I had to shoot quickly cause she was standing in the wind waiting for me.
Lucky I had a towel in the car, the grass was wet and I had to almost get flat on the ground to get a better angle .

I think they came out really nice!!

This was taken from the top of the hill with only small part of the toadstools in the photo

Thank you Michele, Heaterguy, and Fred.

It was just next to a very busy road and I can just imagine what I looked like with my rear end in the air for all the cars passing by, but I got my shots.

These are amanita muscaria a type of magic mushroom and have been eaten by shamans for centuries to help them with their healing powers , can be boiled and eaten or dried and smoked , not that I would be keen to do either as they say violent nausea is a common side effect . Also recognizeable as the mushie used in many a fairytale .

Great Shots well worth the effort; I really like the last one best. Great detail and color.
Magic Mushrooms Hum! Back in the 60's I tried a few of those, Now I'm in my 60's and not so adventurous.
Thanks for Sharing These
Chewys Dad.
