Default Beach Views, Amusement Rides, and One Legged Seagulls Oh My!

I took a walk down to the Santa Monica Pier and grabbed a few shots...

I like how close you got to that seagull! I was reading Moby Dick today and there's a part where a man mentions that if he only had one leg, and a pegleg, he'd use it (he used a more colorful word, a toe-something) to plug holes in boats. That bird picture makes me think of it.

Haha, yeah it was cropped. Although I was fairly close as the gulls here are very tame. They are so tame they will be happy to take food from your hand if you offer it.

Thanks I need to buy a decent ultra wide angle for such things though.

Love seagull. Those things can be such characters! Great video of the scrambler, I haven't seen one of those in years
