Default Rumble in Delano Carshow

Hey everyone,

I had the fun opportunity to shoot a car show. This show was in Delano, one of the oldest neighborhoods and business areas in Wichita. The store fronts made for a great car show. Here are a few of the images I captured, enjoy!

You have to like a Hot Rod with flames!!

My reflection was in the bumper on this GMC, so I photo shopped it out.

You know you have enough wax on, when you can see the car next to yours in your door!

Now that's pulling a trailer in style!

If you have enjoyed these, drop by my flickr page for more. Thanks for stopping by!

What a great set of photos, throughly enjoyed them and I'm not particularly into cars. You'll have to send the fellow with the good wax job over here so he can do my car, wow.

Awesome shots! I love new and old cars. My dad used to customize so I have some experience in knowing what I'm looking at. You must have had a blast there!

Thanks David! We had a lot of fun. There were many hot cars at the show. Not to mention, the air temp was HOT too!

Thanks GothamCity. I took that shot about four times before I was happy with it. Photographically speaking, it was a "Target rich environment!"

Thanks Yorkiemom! It was a lot of fun! I came away with a renewed appreciation for what it takes to bring one of these beauties into being. There were a couple of cars "in process" at the show. I saw at least one with before pictures, wow!

Great series of shots and a lot of fun. I was admiring the GMC truck for a second time, loving the down low angle and the chrome bumper and grills (I miss real steel and chrome on cars so much) and then I saw the people reflected in the fender...it's kind of surreal and enjoyable. The wax job on the third one is to die for, and so is your composition. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mike! It was easy to find reflection that day, a real "Deep thinkers Nirvana...
I have to agree with you lament over the loss of chrome. Maybe some day, saying "Keep the shiny side up" , will once again have true meaning!
