Birds? From Pbdweeeebie? "Oh Goody!" "Your secret to getting jittery birds to sit and pose is what?" she said with a slight whine, trying to contain her envy. The lighting on your first bird is just perfect. Looks like a bird have here called a Curved-bill Thrasher. Thanks. That was just great.

I'm on the "highveld" around 1.4km above sea level in Johannesburg and it is one of [if not the] largerst man-made forest. There are approximaltely 850-950 bird species in Southern Africa and a fair number occur in the area. These particular shots were taken in a local public park a short way from my home.
