I went to photograph a local historic lime kiln and wandered down the track to find one of my favourite subjects: a ruined farmhouse.

beautiful capture! did you use a strobe on the ruined farmhouse? otherwise, the lightings on the 2nd picture was just perfect! well done!

Yeah, I like to take abandoned buildings and give them a sense of their own inner life and spirit by lighting parts up with strobes. It gives them a different look.
