Default baseball: red sox vs. blue jays

it's funny that on the day i had tickets to a jays game that i came upon the dps article about how to shoot baseball! my real problem at the game was light. the dome was closed and you wouldn't think - but the light was horrible! i tried everything possible to get decent exposure but to no avail. it was a real struggle trying to find a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the motion and get some good exposure. i ended up having to crank the iso all the way to 1600 and add exposure compensation but nothing really worked - i got a ton of noise. i shot in raw so i increased the exposure in photoshop a bit. anyway, it was fun to shoot for sure!

Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 190 mm
Exposure: +1.35
ISO Speed: 1600
Exposure Bias: +2 EV

Well, I'd say these turned out pretty good. Nice work!

Those turned out nice. I can see the noise and all but still they turned out sharp. Maybe change them to B&W, it might make them look like older grainy photos. It might actually look nice on the Boston uniform because they kind of look a little out dated. I am actually going to a Red Sox game in like 2 weeks. I'll post some of the photos on DPS when I get back.

Well, they sure look a lot better than your lead-up to them. Nice job.

They look terrific to me, I have always wanted to see a live baseball game.
