Default beachcombing

beachcombing

def. spending time on a beach looking for lost or discarded items, natural specimens, etc. that are useful or interesting

I walked out on the beach today about half a mile across the sand and mud

muddy footprints

to the place where I fish

fishing

I found this little fella swimming around in a pool left by the ebbing tide

jelly fish

and tried to capture a few seagulls in the evening but it was hard going and even this fella covered his face up

strangely gull

I have told this with a sigh somewhere ages past, and there were two roads diverged,
and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

Beach,
great shots and great tale to go along with it !! Not sure why the gull is hiding his head, even without it you have done him justice!

Your shots make me wish I lived near an ocean

The Jelly shot looks sick! It looks like a fossilized one, and a live one!

Well done my friend. I especially liked the first image. Impeccable, as per your norm.

Lovely set of photos beach. I can just feel that sticky mud tenaciously sticking to the bottom of my feet. And that's a very popular fishing spot, looks nice and warm. Can you actually eat the fish that are caught there with all the industry around?
