Great capture, I love the detail. That must of been quite challenaging to catch that baby in flight.

Fantastic. I can't even get a half decent shot when they are still, mainly because they don't stay still. How do you capture one on the move?

Good focus, nice detail. They can be tricky little suckers to get a photo of in flight, but looks good when you get it right. Well done

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. I do appreciate them.

I was lucky in that this guy was happy to repeat the "fly away, land, stay for a few seconds, flay away, land, . . . . " cycle quite a few times. So, I pre-focused on the branch and hoped that he'd cooperate by flying into the frame at a good angle. After a few failed attempts, the stars aligned and I got this one.
